We Could All Use A Margarita Right Now - Happy Cinco de Mayo
Margaritas & Cinco de Mayo go together like avocado and toast.
The weather is finally starting to feel warmer and we could definitely use a margarita or two.
So, we thought we should share some of our favorite recipes, cheers!
🍹 Spicy Margarita
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 ounces reposado tequila
- 1 ounce fresh lime juice
- 1/2 ounce triple sec
- 1/2 ounce agave syrup
- 2 jalapeño coins (seeds removed)
- Ice
- Garnish: lime wedge
- Garnish: salt
Steps:
- At the bottom of a cocktail shaker, muddle the jalapeño coins with agave syrup.
- Pour the remaining ingredients into shaker, fill with ice, and shake until chilled.
- Strain into a salt-rimmed rocks glass filled with fresh ice
- Garnish with a lime wedge.
- For extra relaxation, add half a dropper of our Finesse Time Drops
🍹 Mimosa Margarita
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup of tequila
- 2 cups of orange juice
- 1/4 cup of lime juice
- 1 bottle of prosecco
- Garnish: lime wedge
- Garnish: salt
- Garnish: Orange slices for serving
Steps:
- In a pitcher, combine organe juice, tequila, and lime juice and stir to combine.
- Rim glass rims with lime and dip in salt.
- Pour in orange juice mixture and top off with champagne
- Garnish with orange slices

🍹 The Classic Margarita
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Ingredients:
- 4 oz. tequila
- 2oz. triple sec
- 1 1/2 oz. freshly squeezed lime juice
- ice
- Garnish: 1/4 cup of kosher salt or coarse sea salt
- Garnish: 2 lime wedges.
Steps:
- Place salt on small shallow plate. Rim two glasses with lime wedge, then dip in salt to coat rim.
- Divide tequila, triple sec, and lime juice between 2 glasses and stir to combine.
- Top with ice, garnish with lime and serve.
